| 概要 | このトークではPerlでの非同期・イベント駆動プログラミングの第一人者であるMarc Lehmann氏がこの手法を使ったプログラミングについて解説していただきます === This talk gives an introduction into the history and philosophy of AnyEvent, Coro and IO::AIO by looking at the actual problems that prompted their creation, how they attempt to solve them - and how they should not be used. It will also illustrate some typical usage patterns, and how all three of these modules augment each other, how they interact, and how they can be used to conveniently write responsive servers and applications in Perl. (at least some actual experience with event loops and possibly threads is helpful for understanding, as it will not be an introductory tutorial for any of these modules) === （以下の概要はYAPC運営による意訳です） このトークはAnyEvent, Coro, IO::AIO といった非同期・イベント駆動ツールの歴史とその裏にある思想を、これらがそもそもどのような理由から作られ、どのような問題を解決するために生まれてきたかという経緯を紹介しながら解説します。また同時にこれらのツールの「間違った使い方」も紹介することでこれらのツールが有用たり得るドメインを明らかにします。 このほかにもこれらのツールのよくある利用方法や、この三つのツールがどのようにお互いを補完しつつ協力するのか、そしてどのようにリアルタイムなサーバーやアプリケーションをPerlで実装できるのかを解説していきます。 （イベント駆動についての基本知識はトーク中には特に触れられないので、なんらかしらのイベントループでのプログラミング経験、またはスレッドでのプログラミング経験推奨です） |
