I have been working remotely for more than a decade. Half of that time has been in a technical leadership capacity. I often hear people say it's obviously harder to work remotely, and very hard to be in a leadership position remotely. My experience says otherwise, and I would like to share what I have learned to make remote work an effective strategy.

This is about being a remote worker or working on a distributed team. I am convinced this is the path software organizations are rightly headed, and I am determined to help you get there. I will present the tools and vocabulary to give you the confidence to try it.
