At GitHub, we've refactored a lot of projects in the last couple of years, some big, some small. In this talk, we'll cover some techniques for different kinds of refactorings and some nifty Ruby libraries we've made to help us out. Then we'll spend a bit of time pondering why language designers aren't helping us out with this everyday task.
